December 28, 2024 – Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances and motive behind Friday’s 6:40 p.m. fatal shooting of Uns Ali Hameed, 48, outside her Penn Meade Way residence.
Officers responded to shots fired and found Hameed lying unresponsive in the street. She died at the scene. According to witnesses, approximately four gunshots were heard prior to a dark sedan leaving the scene.
Anyone with information about Hameed’s murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
