Got a baby on board or expecting one? Nashville Parent Magazine and Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown proudly present THE BABY FAIR — Middle Tennessee’s longest-running FREE annual event for new and expectant parents — returning on Saturday, August 10th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Tickets are free, but PLEASE REGISTER so you can get up-to-date information on prizes, speakers and more!
The event features great giveaways, vendors & booths with excellent resources for new parents, networking opportunities and more.
Moms, dads and friends can tour birthing facilities, meet OB/GYNs and certified nurse midwives and gain incredibly valuable insight from experts presenting informational sessions.
In addition, discover local services and goods for babies and parents (inlcuding free maternity photos!), demonstrations and a variety of games.
Parking Instructions:
The Baby Fair will be held inside Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown on 21st Avenue.
Parking for the Baby Fair is in the Heritage Medical parking garage, which is clearly marked off State and 21st Avenue and offers plenty of free parking.
Coming from downtown up Church Street, you will take a right onto 22nd Avenue N and another right on State. The Heritage Parking garage is clearly marked.
The Heritage parking garage address is 2107 State Street. It also has an entrance off 21st Avenue.

3MNPD Hockey Club vs Nashville Fire Benefit Game
Saturday, August 10

This is a benefit game raising funds for MNPD Homicide Unit Sergeant Trevor VonDohlen and his family as he recovers from injuries received in a vehicle crash on July 10, 2024 while responding to a call for service. Tickets are $10 at the door and ALL kids are free.
4Tomato Art Festival

East Nashville’s Five Points
On August 9-10, the free two-day art festival welcomes everyone to East Nashville to showcase the talented artists who turn tomatoes into pieces of art each year. The 2024 Tomato Art Fest continues its tomato traditions thanks to an active community coming together to participate in wacky activities through art, music, food, costumes, contests, shopping, kids activities, the parade, and more.
Located in historic East Nashville’s Five Points, this costume-encouraged event provides a fun-filled day for people of all ages. With over 65,000 people celebrating tomatoes last year, attendees are sure to create special memories with family, friends, and neighbors.
5Centennial Park Big Band Dance
Saturday, August 10

The Big Band Dance is BACK at the Centennial Park Event Shelter! Free dance lessons will be provided by Dynamic Ballroom and Performing Arts starting at 7PM and the band starts at 7:30PM. There will be at least 3 food trucks on site.
