1. Trap Paint Party

A paint and sip with a twist. Come out and vibe to your favorite trap artists, sip on your beverage of choice and enjoy yourself. Join the owners and artists of Art Urban for an evening of popular trap sounds, an artistic experience and great vibes. Their local artists will help you paint a fun and wall-worthy picture! Get your tickets before it sells out! All painting supplies are included with ticket price. Drinks/alcohol will not be available for purchase, but this is a BYOB event.

2. Latin Night

Latin Night is back at Music City Food Truck Park. Experience a night of Latin food, music, and dancing outdoors beneath the Music City sky! Featuring DJ Julian, one of Nashville’s top Latin DJs. Expect to dance to a variety of Latin music! They will have up to 5 of Music City’s tastiest food trucks serving the best in Latin cuisine. They will also have plenty of beer, hard seltzers, and select cocktails for sale. This is a great event to experience Latin food, music, and culture! Whether you’re looking to grab dinner with friends before heading out to Downtown Nashville/Broadway or looking for an outdoor spot that has lots of room for social distancing for your Friday night fun.

3. Arts Adventure Workshop: Ages 5-8

Using the story of The Jungle Book, teaching artists will explore character, rhythm, and what it means to be a good friend and have a supportive community. Discover the magic of theatre in workshops based on the themes from your child’s favorite shows. TPAC’s teaching artists lead fun, interactive activities that will inspire your child’s imagination and provide opportunities to develop new skills such as learning to respond to cues, character development, and choreography.

4. Velvet Elvis Painting

In her song “Velvet Elvis,” Kacey Musgraves references a black velvet painting of Elvis Presley. Thought to have originated in the Kashmir region of India and popularized in Mexico, velvet painting journeyed across continents and evolved into American folk art. During this workshop, try your hand at this unique, enduring art form by creating your own black velvet painting using pastels and black light paint. Learn to paint a portrait of Presley or another icon of your choice, then see your art glow under a black light! Ages 5 and up. Presented in support of the exhibit Kacey Musgraves: All of the Colors.

5. Russell Dickerson
