March 28, 2024 – An investigation by special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of an Indiana man, charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.

In April 2020, TBI special agents received a cybertip from NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) from a social media app, that reported an account was uploading child sexual abuse material. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Goodlettsville, where a cell phone was seized that contained child pornography images. The investigation further identified Scott McConnell as the individual who owned the phone and the account.

In November 2023, the Davidson County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Scott Daniel McConnell (DOB 01/07/1996), of Anderson, Indiana, with two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. On March 26th, he was served on those charges and booked at the Madison County (Indiana) Jail on a $10,000 bond.
