Coffee Shop to Temporarily Close After Catching Fire Overnight


A coffee shop in Nashville has closed for repairs after suffering damage from an overnight fire, WSMV reports.

Officials at the scene told WSMV that police responded to a burglary call at Red Bicycle Coffee & Crepes on 51st Avenue North when they found fire coming from the rear of the shop.

The Nashville Fire Department was contacted and quickly responded to put out the fire. Authorities say the fire may have started in a utility room.

The shop experienced major smoke damage that has resulted in a temporarily closure as they undergo repairs.

No injuries were reported.
