Leading financial wellness and workforce training company, BC Holdings of Tennessee, LLC (BCH), welcomes Carey L. Evans as the latest edition to its growing team of financial wellness coaches. Evans conducts financial training sessions for students and faculty at higher education institutions across the country, including Meharry Medical College, to help them create a financial plan to build wealth and promote financial independence.
Evans was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta and the first in his family to attend and graduate from college, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science and Accounting at Mississippi State University. He spent the majority of his career in the banking and insurance industries, including serving as a financial advisor at State Farm and as an assistant vice president at U.S. Bank in Franklin, Tenn. Previously, he was at KeyBank in Buffalo, New York, where he earned a Top Revenue Producer award in 2011. Prior to that, he was at Prudential Financial in the New York region where he was recognized as a Top Producer in 2009. Evans also served in the retail sector as a store manager of AutoZone earning numerous awards in the Greater Niagara Region in New York.
