Craft Cannabis™, a Tennessee-based seed-to-shelf cannabis company, announced that they will open a second location of Buds & Brews™ in the historic 5 Points neighborhood of East Nashville. The popular cannabis bar and restaurant opened their first location in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood in late 2022.
Buds & Brews East Nashville will have a soft opening mid-month with their Grand Opening Celebration slated for Saturday, June 29th. The restaurant is the latest addition to the 5 Points neighborhood revival, sitting in the marquee cornerstone building at 1024 Woodland Street at the center of the neighborhood. Just a short drive from downtown Nashville, the 5 Points block has become one of the hottest destinations for locals and visitors alike.
Buds & Brews East will offer cannabis in a safe, legal, and fun environment with a unique menu of upscale bar fare and locally grown mushroom plates, while curating the experience to reflect the neighborhood’s history. Formerly the home of 3 Crow, it was originally named Shirley’s Bar and later became Slow Bar in 2000, where it gained popularity among locals and musicians like The Kings of Leon and The Black Keys. Buds & Brews aims to honor this rich history by reviving live music and comedy in the historic building.

This new location will also feature 5 Points Beer Garden, an outdoor beer garden boasting a tap selection of more than 40 beers including Nashville beers and those across the state like Naked River Brewery. Additionally, a new mural is being painted outside to celebrate the vibrant 5 Points neighborhood.

Buds & Brews East will offer fan-favorite menu items like the Buds Burger, Hot Chicken Tacos, and Wake & Bake Brunch. They will also offer vegan-friendly and healthy options like locally grown mushroom burgers and other delicious exotic cognitive mushroom dishes. Patrons can choose their favorite infused sauces made with locally crafted and hemp-derived THC. The East Nashville location will feature a selection of delicious cocktails along with cannabis-infused cocktails like the Smoky Margarita and the Spliff Sangria and infused desserts.
Buds & Brews is expanding beyond Nashville with additional locations in Chattanooga and Memphis, Tennessee slated for later this year.
