Construction began in June and is expected to take about 24 months. Hospital operations will continue throughout the project while renovations are completed in phases.

The project includes upgrades to operating rooms, cardiac catheterization labs, procedural suites, advanced imaging services, medical equipment, and sterile processing areas. The hospital will also expand its Heart program, add a new Heart and Kidney Transplant Center with a dedicated entrance, and create a new Thoracic Surgery and Chest and Lung Center.

Patients and visitors will also see redesigned hospital and specialty clinic entrances, updated patient rooms, waiting areas, lobbies, and corridors, along with improved parking, landscaping, outdoor gathering spaces, expanded healthy dining options, and a redesigned gift shop.

The project also includes new security measures, including additional cameras, expanded emergency notification systems, electronic access controls, and an increased security presence throughout the campus.

Hospital President Harrison Kiser said the investment is designed to improve access to care, strengthen the hospital’s specialty programs, simplify navigation, and create a better experience for patients and their families.
