September 10, 2023 – A four-year-old boy accidentally drowned in a swimming pool in Nashville on Saturday evening.
Police say it happened on Took Drive.
Simeon Roungou was attending a birthday party with family members when he climbed the stairs to the porch connected to a pool which he entered unnoticed by others.
A guest saw him and pulled him from the pool. Aid was rendered.
He was transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where he died.
