Teresa-Watson-Hatcher

Teresa Watson Hatcher, age 63 of Antioch, Tennessee passed away suddenly on December 25, 2023, after a short, valiant fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma.

Teresa was a lifelong member of Tusculum Church of Christ in South Nashville. She maintained 2 careers for over 30 years. She operated her own house cleaning business and more importantly was an unrivaled homemaker.

Teresa was known by many as the first person willing to help loved ones and strangers alike. One of the many passions in her life was her Ladies Bible Study. Her commitment to the Bible Study led directly to her mission to share her faith through actions and her daily posted devotions.

When it came to her love of family, there was no equal. She was Aunt Reese to nieces and nephews who she loved like her own children. Even though she loved her two sons, Dallas and Tyler, unconditionally and only as a mother can, it was her 3 grandchildren, (Brooklyn, Bronx, and Brighton), that she moved Heaven and Earth for. Becoming “Gammie” was a role she played 2nd to none.

Teresa was faithfully and happily married to Rick for over 37 years. After raising a family, they focused on each other and living a Christ centered life. They enjoyed travel when possible and regular walks along the nearby greenways. Teresa graduated from Antioch High School and enjoyed being involved at the AHS Alumni Hall. Lastly, but most certainly not least, Teresa aimed to leave the legacy of a Proverbs 31 Woman. Mission accomplished, Teresa, Mom, Gammie, Aunt Reese.

Preceded in death by mother, Jo Ann Huddleston Watson.

Survived by husband, Rick Hatcher; sons, Dallas (Stefanie) Hatcher and Tyler (Blake) Hatcher; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bronx and Brighton Hatcher; father, Charles Watson; sisters, Tina (Ricky) Doores and Tammy (Robert) Morris; nieces, Cassidy and Calab Doores, Makenzie Sinvichith, Kerigan Morris, Scottie and Timothy Hatcher, April, Crystal and Austin Moorer, Oliva and Anna Hatcher; and multiple great nieces and nephews.
