A child has died after an accidental shooting in Nashville on February 26, 2023, according WKRN.
It happened at a home on Bell Road when a 4-year-old found a gun and accidentally shot themselves in the head, according to Metro Nashville Police.
Metro Nashville Police say they responded to a call after a woman reported the child had died.
When officers arrived to the scene, the child had already been taken to Summit Hospital.
Metro Youth Service is investigating the shooting.
