October 10, 2022 – Homicide Unit detectives are working to establish the circumstances leading up to an apparent exchange of gunfire Sunday night in Parkwood Park off Vailview Drive that fatally wounded two brothers, Quintarius Newbell, 23, and Keianthony Newbell, 17, who lived a short distance away.
Madison Precinct officers responding to a 7 p.m. shots fired call found the victims near the entrance to the park. Both died at the scene.
Leads in this investigation were developed during the night. Follow up is continuing this morning.
