February 3, 2025 – The woman who was critically injured in Sunday’s 8:40 p.m. domestic-related shooting inside an apartment at 301 28th Avenue North has died. Leslie Yount, 44, was found by responding Midtown Hills Precinct officers with a single gunshot wound to her abdomen.
Yount’s boyfriend, Ray Greer, 64, was at the scene and claimed he shot Yount during an argument over money.
Greer was taken into custody and charged last night with attempted criminal homicide. His warrant is expected to be upgraded later today.
He currently remains jailed on $80,000 bond.
