February 6, 2025 – A 19-year-old Nashville man remains jailed on $67,000 bond after he fled from Robbery Operations detectives last night near Highland Trace Drive while wanted on six outstanding domestic-related warrants. A loaded handgun and marijuana were found in his flight path.
Kejuan Hodges was wanted on three counts of domestic assault, two counts of vandalism, and aggravated burglary after repeated offenses with the same woman dating back to December when he punched her in the face. On January 4 she reported he threw an ashtray at the wall, kicked in her door, scratched her during the argument and threatened to shoot her before leaving her apartment. Then on January 27, the woman reported Hodges grabbed her by the hair during an argument and punched her.
Last night, as a part of detectives’ continued efforts to locate Hodges, he was found in a Hyundai Elantra and fled from an attempted traffic stop towards Revels Drive.
The Hyundai was monitored by MNPD Aviation until detectives were able to disable the vehicle. Aviation observed Hodges throw a pistol out of the passenger side window on Knight Drive near Ewing Drive, which was recovered after his arrest.
Once the Hyundai was disabled, Hodges fled on foot and tossed a backpack prior to detectives taking him into custody. Inside the recovered backpack detectives located marijuana. More marijuana and a digital scale were recovered from inside the Hyundai.
He was booked in last night on his outstanding warrants and is additionally charged with felony and misdemeanor evading arrest, felony weapon possession, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia and not having a driver’s license.
