Violent Crimes detectives are working to identify the persons involved in carjacking a woman at Hillsboro Pike and Woodmont Boulevard October 22. The man (seen in attached surveillance photos) was seen at a convenience store the next day driving the stolen red Volkswagen Jetta.
The victim stated she was sideswiped by another vehicle at the intersection when an occupant got out and demanded she get out of her car at gunpoint. The suspect also took her phone, as well as other belongings that were inside the car at the time.
The Jetta was recovered last month in a Dickerson Pike hotel parking lot.
