August 26, 2025 – Investigation by Robbery Operations detectives led to Monday night’s arrest of two teen carjacking suspects and the recovery of a stolen 2014 Honda Accord and two guns taken during a gun store burglary in Dickson.

The Honda was stolen Sunday night from a Tusculum Road residence. The victim was exiting the car when two armed men robbed him at gunpoint and took the vehicle.

Detectives yesterday were conducting surveillance on the Honda when the two male teens, ages 14 and 15, got into the car and drove off. After a short time, the car was immobilized on Tusculum Road at Colemont Drive. The 14-year-old driver and his 15-year-old passenger were each armed with a handgun. Officers ordered them to drop their weapons, and both were taken into custody.

The teens are charged in Juvenile Court with vehicle theft, juvenile handgun possession, and theft of a firearm. Additionally, the 15-year-old is charged with aggravated assault against a first responder after he pointed a gun toward a detective prior to his arrest.
