February 3, 2025 – An alert from Mt. Juliet Police Department’s license plate reader program led officers to a stolen 2020 Audi A5 at Mapco South of I-40 on Sunday evening. According to police, the car was originally reported stolen on 1/15 out of Murfreesboro.
As officers arrived, they found two suspects exiting the vehicle—one of whom, a 30-year-old woman from Nashville, was the original theft suspect. During the investigation, officers also uncovered a large amount of narcotics.
The woman was arrested on her outstanding warrant for vehicle theft, along with charges for possession of Schedule II, IV, and V drugs. The man, a 38-year-old from Nashville, was arrested on multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute cocaine, marijuana, and Xanax, as well as possession of Suboxone and drug paraphernalia.
