October 3, 2024 – An 18-year-old was arrested by Nashville detectives Wednesday night at the Greyhound Bus Station following the discovery of thousands of counterfeit oxycodone pills that field tested positive for fentanyl.
Metro Nashville Police say Ivan Corrale arrived at the station from a Greyhound bus from Dallas, Texas. The Interdiction and Narcotics Units was conducting operations at the bus terminal when the authorities found Corrales carrying a small duffle bag.
The bag contained a duct-taped bundle filled with thousands of counterfeit blue M-30 pills, weighing over five pounds in total. He informed detectives that he had received the pills in El Paso, Texas, with instructions to transport them to Nashville.
Corrales has been charged with felony possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute with a bond set at $75,000.
Corrales also had an ID indicating his residence in Alma, Arkansas.
