Taqueria de Sol announced the closure of its 12 South location in Nashville two years ago. At that time, the restaurant on Charlotte remained open.
However, now the restaurant has announced the closure of this last remaining Nashville location. Sharing on social media, “Thank you for the past 12 years, Nashville. We plan to make Sunday, March 30th, our final day of service.”
Nashville Business Journal reports that the space will not be empty for long. Will Spiva, owner of Cafe Nonna, is partnering with Tres Hermanos, Taqueria de Sol’s kitchen manager, for a new concept at the Charlotte location.
Tres Hermanos will open by early April and will offer fresh-made tortillas, nachos, and a full cocktail bar.
