May 1, 2025 – Cold Case detectives are working to locate suspected shoplifter Scott Hudgens Jr., 33, who on April 23 fled in a vehicle from the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter at 5824 Nolensville Pike. A pursuing Greenfield (Weakley County) police officer, who was working security for Walmart, fired shots toward Hudgens. No gunshot victims were found at the scene or reported hospitalized.
Cold Case detectives are investigating the officer involved shooting and want to interview Hudgens. He is also wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with theft of merchandise from a February incident at Walgreens, 5301 Harding Pike. Hudgens received a probated sentence following convictions for DUI and drug possession last June.
