(May 21, 2022) A pedestrian has died after being struck during a hit-and-run crash Friday evening on Murfreesboro Pike near Wilhagen’s sports bar. The 50-year-old pedestrian was discovered by EMS personnel after responding to another call for service.
UPDATE: Chevrolet Express Van Involved in Murfreesboro Pike Hit and Run Friday Night
The preliminary investigation indicates the 50-year-old was walking on the north side of Murfreesboro Pike when a 2014-2015 Chevrolet Express van ran off the road and struck him. The van fled the scene.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Efforts are underway to locate his family.
