One Generation Away is returning to Nashville this week to share free groceries with the community.
The nonprofit will bring its Mobile Pantry to the Maplewood High School parking lot at 401 Walton Lane on Saturday, October 28. At this drive-thru food distribution event, anyone wishing to receive groceries will go home with a trunk full of fresh produce, pantry staples, baked goods, dairy, and more.
“We always love visiting Maplewood and communing with our Nashville and Madison friends,” said Chris Whitney, founder and CEO of OneGenAway. “If you would be blessed by a load of food this week, we hope you’ll join us. We don’t ask any questions or require any paperwork. All are welcome.”
Food distribution will begin around 8:30 a.m. and continue until about 9:30 a.m. or until all the food has been given away. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive at 7:30 to help sort and distribute the food.
