It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willaim Walker (Bill) Inman, who died on November 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Bill was born on August 29, 1937 in Leipers Fork, TN to LB and Beulah Inman.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his son Randy Inman, daughter Kathy Inman Locke (Bobby), daughter Leslie Inman Cothron (Brent), grandchildren Whitney Inman Johnson (John), Michael Inman, Peyton Inman, Ashley Locke, Shannon Locke Baker (Brandon), Cassidy Cothron, Caleb Cothron, great grandchildren Loralie Johnson, Buck Johnson, Palmer Baker, sister Carol Inman Moss, brother-in-law Carl Daugherty (Jan); nephews Tom Daugherty (Kim), Joey Moss (Julie), Barry Moss (Yvette). He was preceded in death by parents LB and Beulah Inman, wife Myrna Daugherty Inman, sisters Charlene Ladd (Alfred), Shirley Inman, brother-in-law CP Moss, nephew Troy Daugherty.
A person of faith, friendliness and generosity, Bill was known for the love of the Lord, his family, his church, friends and the Big Orange Volunteers. He worked at Georgia Pacific until he retired and went on to work at Fairview Stop and Save where he worked with family members. There he gained a significant amount of friends and made an impact on the community.
A service to celebrate his wonderful life will be held at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Ronnie Sullivan officiating. Visitation on Thursday, December 4th, 4:00-8:00 PM and Friday, December 5th, visitation 9:30 AM-1:30 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:30 and burial after the funeral service.
