Wanda Jane Bibee, 83, of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home. She was born in Nashville on May 9, 1941, to the late John and Alma Perry Savely.
Wanda married the love of her life, Harold Bibee, in August 1959. She was a loving and devoted military wife traveling all over the world with her husband. In her earlier years, Wanda enjoyed bowling. She also loved flowers.
Wanda was a gifted housewife and enjoyed cooking and baking. The matriarch of her family, Wanda had a good heart and would help anybody that needed help. She had a loving soul and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sisters, Judy, Glenda, and Linda. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 65 years, Harold; children, Donna Gorlier and Warren Bibee; grandcats and grandogs; sister, Brenda McClelland; and a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members and beloved friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, January 3, 2025, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Wanda’s Life will begin at 11:00AM in the Chapel. Following the service, Wanda will be laid to rest in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
