Sue Baldwin Grossholz

Sue Baldwin Grossholz, age 86, of Nashville Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

Sue was born November 8, 1934 in Logan County, Kentucky to the late Jessie Ray and Nellie Mae Scruggs Baldwin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Grossholz; son, Collin Grossholz; brothers, Myles Baldwin, Sr. and Tony Baldwin; brother-n-laws, Tom King, Tom Clinard, and Odell Malone; sister, Joyce Malone and sister-in-law, Dorothy Baldwin.

After moving to Nashville, Sue attended and graduated from East Nashville High School. She worked as an office manager and after retirement with her family in their real estate office. On October 17, 1952, Sue married the love of her life, Lewis Grossholz. Sue enjoyed watching auto racing, spending time with her husband and sons, cooking, cleaning, and family gatherings. She was grounded in her faith, loving Jesus first and then her family.

Sue is survived by her sons, Rollin (Cindy) Grossholz of Louisville, Kentucky, Marlin (Elaine) Grossholz of Monterey, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Joshua Grossholz, Andrew Grossholz, Heather Johnson, Meagan Grossholz, Sonja Grossholz, Miranda Brahmer, and Matthew Grossholz; six great-grandchildren, Gavin, Wyatt, Waylon, Eisley, Ethan, and Westlyn; sisters, Doris King, Jessie Clinard, and Barbara (Charles) Harris.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from ten o’clock in the morning until twelve noon on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at twelve noon on Friday, September 24, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Bro. Russ King officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers: Myles Baldwin, John Varallo, Andrew Grossholz, Joshua Grossholz, Matthew Grossholz and Marlin Grossholz.

Honorary Pallbearers: Gavin Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, Ethan Grossholz, and Waylon Brahmer
