Stephen Edward Trauernicht, 73, of Nashville, passed away on November 20, 2025.
Steve was born on September 21, 1952, to Paul and Dorothy Trauernicht.
He graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1970 and Western Kentucky University in 1974.
He retired from Overhead Door Company / Assa Abloy in 2022 after 40 years of employment.
Steve’s greatest joy was his family.
He is lovingly remembered by all who survive him: his daughter, Amy Cendaña (Ray); grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, and Philip Cendaña; siblings, Allen (Janet) Trauernicht, Karen Sadler, Norma (Steve) Volz, and Mark Trauernicht; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cherished partner, Dawna Powell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Philip Trauernicht.
A private family service will be held to honor Steve’s life.
