Sheila Ann McClanahan, passed away peacefully at the age of 61, on October 15, 2024.

On September 7, 1963 Sheila entered the world born to loving parents Donald and Ada Chrisman. She was born in Gary, Indiana where she spent some of her life, but found herself calling Nashville her home.

Sheila had a heart of gold that shined like the afternoon sun. Her radiant memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Ada Chrisman, and her brother Ronnie Chrisman.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband of forty-four plus years, Tony McClanahan; her siblings, Donna Short, Janie (Dale) Cole, Norman (Peggie) Chrisman, and Rhonda Lynn (Kenny) Weldon; She is also survived by her children, Anthony (Jaimie Bradford) McClanahan, and Jeremy (Amanda Hemby) McClanahan; her precious grandchildren, Wesley, Kade, Isaiah, Justin, and Jonathan; and last, but certainly not least, her precious fur baby, Milo.

Sheila had a genuine passion for exploring local yard sales and estate sales, where she would eagerly hunt for new treasures to bring back home. The thrill of uncovering unique and special items brought her immense joy.

However, beyond all these material possessions, her greatest source of adoration was her family. They were the true treasures in her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Sheila’s selfless nature defined her character, as she consistently prioritized the needs of others over her own. Her heart overflowed with boundless love, making her a truly remarkable and compassionate individual.

Services for Sheila Ann will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Sellars Funeral Home in Mount Juliet at 2229 N Mount Juliet Road, Mount Juliet, Tennessee with visitation from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Brother Danny Sellars. A graveside service will follow at Mount Juliet Memorial Gardens. https://www.sellarsfh.com
