In Loving Memory of Seble Gebreyes

December 15, 1981 – October 20, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend, Seble Gebreyes, who entered eternal rest on October 20, 2025, at the age of 43.

Seble was born in Ambo, Ethiopia, on December 15, 1981, and lived a life marked by love, humility, and faith. She was the devoted wife of Elias Begashaw, and a loving, nurturing mother to her three children: Eliana (14), Ruhama (9), and Aman (8) – the light and joy of her life.

She was the cherished daughter of Zeritu Tesfayesus and Dawit Gebreyes, and a beloved sister to Alem, Eyob, Elias, and Melat.

Seble was a faithful member of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and lived her life anchored in her love for God. Her faith was evident in her daily life – through her prayers, kindness, and the way she guided her children to walk in the path of the Lord.

She was a quiet source of strength, compassion, and wisdom to all who knew her. She had a beautiful heart and was a generous person. Whether supporting her family or comforting those in need, Seble gave of herself with grace and gentleness.
