Sarah Louise Johnson

Sarah Louise Copper Johnson was born September 1, 1949 in Town Creek, Alabama to Hydinia Davis and Willie Cooper. She transitioned on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sarah accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. She attended Davidson County Public Schools, graduating from Haynes High School in Nashville, Tennessee, Class of 1967.

Sarah was married to Robert Charles Johnson Jr. on June 28, 1982, they enjoyed this union for a number of years, until his passing.

Sarah was self-employed in Construction and she owned a Convenient Store, but she also has worked as a cook, housekeeper, and a paper roller for the Tennessean. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, and many more. She was a renaissance woman, and she will be truly missed!

Sarah was preceded in death by her Husband Robert Charles Johnson Jr., Tammi Terrell King- Erhabor, Maternal Grandparents Otis and Larcenia Scruggs, Father Willie Cooper, Sister Darlene Cooper, and Son-in-law Jody Dowdell.

She leaves to cherish her memories her Mother Hydinia Davis, Son Richard King, Brother Gary Cooper, Aunt Hazel Louise Bird, Uncle Mack Scruggs, Son, and Daughter-in-law Robert and Raenicha Johnson, Stepchildren Teresa and Steven Donaldson, Norris and Jacquelyn Johnson, Robert Brown, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephew, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, August 4, 2021, 12-6, visitation Thursday 10-11 with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Greenwood North.
