Sara Ann Stafford, age 85 of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on October 3, 2025. She was born on April 14, 1940, to Albert and Ina Stephens.
She worked for the Lentz Health Department in Nashville for over 40 years, where she was a registered nurse. Sara was a caring and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to travel, read, cook, walk, and was a patron of the arts, and she was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church in Nashville. She also had a love for rescued animals and protecting wildlife.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ina Stevens, husband, Jack Stafford, and her grandson, Cameron Byrne. She is survived by her son, Tom (Kari) Byrne, granddaughter, Ciara (Chris) Hudgens, step-granddaughters, Jessica Long and Laura (Rob) Thomson, and step-great-granddaughters Leila and Georgia.
