Sahara Vazquez Magallanes, a beloved member of the Antioch, TN community, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 14, 2023. She was known for her warm spirit and contagious laughter, bringing joy to everyone who knew her.
Sahara was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 5, 1990, and moved to Tennessee in her early teens. She graduated from Antioch High School and went on to pursue a degree in nursing, aspiring to help others throughout her life.
She is survived by her loving parents, Maria and Juan Magallanes, her loving brother, Carlos, and her cherished niece, Isabella. Sahara’s family was her world; she treasured her time spent with them and was often found hosting gatherings filled with love, laughter, and delicious meals.
Visitation will be held on October 20, 2023, from 4 PM to 8 PM at [Sahara’s Funeral Home](https://www.saharasmemorialhome.com), located at 1234 Main St, Antioch, TN. A funeral service will take place the following day on October 21, 2023, at 10 AM in the same location, followed by a burial at Antioch Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor, ensuring her spirit of generosity continues to inspire others.
