Ruth L. Hicks, age 88, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 12th, 2025. She was born on June 26, 1937. She was in the graduating class of Goodlettsville High School in 1955 and later married the love of her life- Bill. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, William “Bill” M. Hicks; Her son, Lynn W. Hicks; And her grandson, John C. Hicks.
She is survived by her son, Glen A. Hicks, and grandchildren, Parker Hicks, Emily Hicks, and Elizabeth Hicks.
Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on October 16th, from 3-8 PM, and again on October 17th, from 10-2:30 PM. A service will follow the second visitation, starting at 2:30 PM, with a burial immediately after. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/goodlettsville-tn
