Roger Roland Dansereau, age 88, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was formerly from Pascoag, Rhode Island but lived for the past 22 years in Dover, Tennessee.
Roger was born on June 11, 1937, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Throughout his life, he was known for his dedication to family, his love of adventure, and the quiet strength that defined him.
He was the beloved husband of Jeannette Cecile Dansereau and a loving father to COL Roger Roland Dansereau Jr. USA RET and Darlene Ann Szczepan. He was a cherished grandfather to Roger Roland Dansereau III (R.J) and Samantha Lynn Marshall who brought him great pride and joy.
Roger greatly enjoyed motorcycle rides with his wife, Jeannette, time spent on his farm during his retirement years and traveling together around the world. He especially treasured visiting his son at Army Bases while traveling through many countries, creating memories that will be held close by his family.
Roger will be remembered as a devoted family man whose love, presence, and appreciation for life’s simple and meaningful moments left a lasting legacy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
