Reene D. Russell was born May 14, 1953, in Nashville, Tennessee and departed this life on October 13, 2024. She was 71 years old.
Reene is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Russell “Ed” and Ouida Russell; and her sister, Marilyn Russell.
She is survived by two sisters, Janet Ray (Steve) and Candy Johnson along with many nieces and nephews.
Reene loved the outdoors and spent many hours gardening and doing landscaping around her home. She was also devoted to animals and leaves behind her two dogs, Lady and Hank.
Reene was a strong influence over those who knew her, and she took care of family and friends without question. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday, October 17, 2024, between 2:30 and 3:30 with a short service to follow.
