Peggy Sue Coltharp Rowland, age 89 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.
Peggy was a devout Christian who loved her children, family and church. She celebrated 52 years of marriage before the passing of her late husband. She continued to live in the home they bought together and raised her children in over the past 67 years. She held Bible studies in her home for many years while attending Tusculum Hills Baptist Church and is a member of Christ Church. She will be greatly missed as her children called her “The Queen.”
Preceded in death by husband, Robert “Bob” Forrest Rowland.
Survived by daughter, Dawn Jennings Weisner; sons, F. Dale (Lisa) Rowland and Danny (Karen) Rowland; grandchildren, Chad Rowland, Peyton Jennings, Christie Tucker Rowland, Paxton Weisner and Bleu Weisner; great-grandchildren, Chloe Rowland, Bayleigh Tucker, Colton Rowland, Bella Tucker, Eve Jennings and Lily Jennings; and 3 siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Jackie Stanfield on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Christ Church Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chad Rowland, Peyton Jennings, Paxton Weisner, Bleu Weisner, Colton Rowland and David Hicks.
