Peggy Ann Mendoza, 75, passed away on May 25, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Domingo Mendoza, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Shelbyville, TN, Peggy was the daughter of Harvey Columbus Coursey and Rena Christine Loyd Coursey.
She enjoyed walks on the beach, playing Candy Crush and Wordscapes on her iPad, and antique shopping. She cherished family gatherings and watching her grandchildren play sports. Peggy always looked forward to enjoying a large glass of margarita and bushwackers.
Peggy was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, her enthusiastic support as the loudest cheerleader in the stands for her grandkids, and her dedication to remembering important dates and celebrations. She had a unique ability to lift the spirits of both loved ones and strangers, ensuring no one felt left out or down.
She is survived by her husband Domingo Mendoza, and her children, grandchildren and sisters: Timothy Mendoza, Tony Mendoza, Linda Mendoza, Kylee Mendoza, Toby Mendoza, Tucker Mendoza, Tanner Mendoza, Kobie Mangala, Libby Campbell, and Bobbie Davis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30th, from 5 PM to 8 PM. The memorial service will take place on Friday, May 31st, at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home and Woodlawn Memorial Park, located at 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
