Paul Franklin Vieira, 76, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away at Tristar Skyline Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on December 9, 2024.

He was born December 14, 1947, to Albert and Nona Vieira while they were stationed at the Panama Naval base.

Those who have passed on before him are parents, Albert Vieira and Nona Vieira.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are loving wife of 47 years, Elaine Vieira, daughter, Paula (Chad) Walters, grandsons, Porter Walters and Cohen Walters, siblings, Alan Vieira and Mark (Lisa) Vieira, and several nieces and nephews.

Paul was a Vietnam era veteran and was proud to serve his country. His deep faith led him to serve his church, the Madison Campus Seventh Day Adventist Church, as both assistant and head deacon. Professionally, he was committed to protecting and serving his community in his roles as a security guard and lobby director in downtown Nashville.
Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and loved goofing around at home and with friends.

Encouraged by his mother, who enjoyed bowling, Paul also became an avid bowler and enjoyed playing games with family and league friends. He won many awards over the years and was well known as a talented left-handed bowler. Another little-known fact about Paul; He LOVED hats! He had a wide collection totaling over 400! He was a proud and doting grandpa that loved spending time playing with his grandsons. Underneath the surface, he loved serving and helping others and was thoughtful in every aspect of his life. He was a wonderful provider for his family, a bright example of faith to his church community, and his spirit of compassion and service will live on in those who were blessed to share his life.

A service to celebrate his life will take place in January 2025. Please check back for upcoming details. https://www.springhillfh.com
