Patsy Jean Vick of Plantation Court, Nashville passed away on Tuesday, January 21 at the age of 89.

She was born on February 20, 1935, in Yeager, OK.

She graduated from Yeager High School (’53) where she played basketball and softball. She did secretarial work for several churches. She retired from a position as presidential assistant for the Steward Commission of the SBC. She was an active member at Immanuel Baptist Church where she was ordained a deacon, directed the pre-school choir, taught youth Sunday school, worked with GA’s, sang in the church choir, played on the ladies softball team and served as church clerk.

She was an avid golfer, loved Vandy sports and the Atlanta Braves.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn Green and Eula LaFave, daughter, Jennifer Vick Kiper. She is survived by her husband, Beryl, son, Mark, grandchildren, Lauren Lane, Mark, Jr., Houston and great-grandson, Baird Lane, her sisters, Judy Simth of Burleson, TX and Mary Yarbrough of Ada, OK.

Her memorial service will be at Immanuel Baptist Church, 222 Belle Meade Blvd Sunday, January 26 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
