Mary Frances McMurray, 81, of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025. A devoted Christian, Mary lived her life centered around faith, family, and friendship. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.
Mary found great joy in caring for her loved ones. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and the way she made everyone feel at home. She treasured time with her friends, especially over a good card game and a warm cup of coffee. A fan of simple pleasures, Mary loved to read and listen to the timeless music of George Strait.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Lee McMurray; her daughter, Regina McMurray Lamb; and her great-granddaughter, Madison McMurray.
Mary is survived by her sons: Richard McMurray (Gidget), James McMurray, and David McMurray (Denise). She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on June 11th at Generation Changers Church in Donelson Tennessee. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 p.m. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/old-hickory-tn
