Marie Sterrett, age 97, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on December 25, 2025.
The funeral arrangements will be made at a later time. Burial will be held at Nashville National Cemetery at a later time.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Docia Herbison; her husbands, James Glenn Dorsey and Louis Sterrett; siblings, Berry Herbison, Polly Hill, Etta Herbison, Thomas A. Herbison, Ruby Kimbro, Artalee Kimbro, Pearline Herbison, Ralph Herbison, and Oscar Herbison.
She is survived by her children, Alice Elizabeth Koehler (Bob) of California, and Tommy Glenn Dorsey of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Wilma Jean Booker of Charlotte, Tennessee; grandchildren, David Johnson, Amy Bailey, Piper Dorsey, and Vera Dorsey; great-grandchild, Jadon Johnson.
