Lori Jeane Nichols, born on September 13, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 63. On the same day, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Dennis Nichols.
Lori is survived by her loving daughter, Megan Gibson, her son-in-law, John Gibson, and her beautiful granddaughter, who will forever cherish her memory.
Lori dedicated nearly 45 years of service to the State of Tennessee, a testament to her loyalty, hard work, and commitment to her community. Her family describes her as an angel on earth—a gentle, caring soul who touched the lives of everyone around her.
She loved spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers, and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the mountains. Lori was also exceptionally skilled at crochet and cross-stitch, creating pieces filled with love and warmth. Known for her kindness and her ability to make anyone feel welcome, she truly was a wonderful people-person.
