Loretta Ann Alexander, 85, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on February 12, 2025.
She was born on March 20, 1939, to Rufus and Estelle McKenzie. Like her parents, Loretta was a precious, protective, and loving mother, dedicating her life to her children: Kathy Nance, Donna Grooms, Charlie Alexander, and the late Mitchell Alexander.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley King, her brother Gene McKenzie, and her youngest son, Mitchell Alexander.
Loretta is survived by her children, Kathy, Donna, and Charlie; her beloved grandchildren: Kayla Alexander, Christopher Grooms, Charlie Alexander, and Max Nance; and three cherished great-grandchildren: Knox Alexander, Raylan Grooms, and Callum Alexander. She leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
A gathering of family and friends to honor Loretta’s life will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow in Dignity Hall. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
