Lindsay Marie Billings James, born June 21, 1982, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on September 8, 2024.
Raised in Nashville, Lindsay was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend, known for her compassionate spirit and a heart of gold. She was devoted to her three children, Erica, Breanna, and Jonathan, loving them unconditionally. Lindsay’s warmth and kindness extended to all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on her community.
She is survived by her parents, Robin Forte and Larry (Elaine) Billings; her three children, Erica Billings (27), Breanna James (21), and Jonathan James (16); and her brother, Nicholas Forte.
Lindsay is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Carolyn Hawn Flippen, Robert T. Dixon, and Austin and Barbara Billings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road and Saturday, September 14, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the church. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward Catholic Church, 188 Thompson Lane at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024, followed by a burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Lindsay’s legacy of love and kindness will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
