Linda Carol Greene from Thomaston, Georgia, and longtime Nashville resident, peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025. She was born in 1948, to the late Margaret and William “Billie” Reeves. In her final days she was surrounded by family, loved ones and caregivers.
Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. John W. Greene; two sons, Todd [Rusti] and Kevin [Beth]; grandchildren, Mills, Shep and Mary Margaret; sister, Angie and numerous family members and friends.
She was a graduate of Lipscomb University. Linda loved well and was well loved. She was a beacon of positivity and a pillar of faith and reliability. Many called her, “the best person that they knew.”
Linda was a lifelong volunteer for many non-profit organizations including Fannie Battle and Thistle Farms among many others. She was a master gardener, loved painting but most of all, cherished time with her grandchildren. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
