Larry Ray West, age 83, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on April 28, 2025.
Born on June 4, 1941, in Springfield, Tennessee, Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married to, Carolyn Fay West, for 59 wonderful years in total, and together they built a strong, loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Larry worked for many years in the construction industry with Goodwin and Wall, where he was known for his strong work ethic, skill, and reliability. Outside of work, was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn West; children, Rita Koraska (Jesse), Judy Morton (Todd), Jodi Perry (Freddie), Larry “Richard” West (Amanda), and Billy West (Wendy); 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; his sister, Catherine Lee and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Virgil and Leo Cole West; daughter, Deb Buckley; grandson, Joseph Duty; and by 11 siblings.
