Karlene Kay Armstrong Lund went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on June 10, 2025. Her body is now whole, and we can only imagine what a wonderful reunion she is having with her son, Jerry.
Kay was born July 1, 1942, to George and Evelyn Armstrong. She was a Nashville native and a longtime member of Tusculum Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed the simple things in life like playing the piano, flower gardening, watching Gaither Homecoming Videos, and writing letters to her closest friends and relatives.
Kay will be missed by her sons, their families and her many close friends in the Tusculum area. Preceded in death by parents, George and Evelyn Armstrong; husband, Thomas B. Lund, Sr.; and son, Jerry Wayne Lund.
Survived by sons, Thomas B. (Kay) Lund, Jr., John E. (Cynthia) Lund, George H. (Carrie) Lund and James A. (Heather) Lund; grandchildren, Thomas Lund, Julia Lund, Holland (Colleen) Lund, Hailey Lund, Hannah Lund, Austin (Kristina) Lund, Alec Lund and Julie Lund; great-grandson, Henry J. Lund.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Chris Hess on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (visitation 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Her family will serve as Pallbearers.
