Judy Morrison, age 81, passed away Easter weekend. A lifelong resident of the Nashville area, Judy spread love and light to everyone she encountered.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Nell Tidwell of Hermitage, TN, and her beloved husband of 53 years, John Morrison, with whom she shared a life full of love, laughter, and family.
She is survived by her daughter Stacey Preston and her husband James of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren J.P. and Becca Preston; her son Jay Morrison and his wife Jamie of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren Jacob and Eva Morrison; her sister and best friend Paula Kinslow and her husband Dr. Phil Kinslow, along with their children Paul Allen, Jenny (Harlan) and Amy Kinslow.
Known affectionately as “Grams,” Judy’s life was marked by her selflessness, generosity, and devotion to her family. She was a constant source of love and support to those closest to her and was a shining light in the lives of many. As a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be deeply missed.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday May 23, 2025 at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home from 4-6 PM with graveside to follow at 6 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a life so beautifully lived.
