Joyce Ann Milligan was born in Nashville, TN on December 4, 1939, and passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 85 on June 2, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vance Milligan, and her son, Robert Junior.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Robin (Joe) Dick, Mary Ann (Robbie) White, and Donna (Mack) Nations; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Joyce was married to the love of her life Bobby for 58 years. She retired from a long career at the Department of Education in Nashville Tennessee. Joyce and Bobby enjoyed many years after retirement riding their Harley with the Harley Owner’s Group. They also enjoyed going to Elm Hill Marina to hang out with friends and family on their houseboat.
She always made everyone feel welcome and was a bit sassy at times. She will be deeply missed by friends and family. Words cannot express the impact she had on those who knew her.
Joyce was a cherished member of her family and community.
A visitation for Joyce will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A visitation will occur Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
