Mr. Jon Garcia of South Carthage was pronounced deceased at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday afternoon December 3, 2025 at the Highpoint Health – Riverview Medical Center Emergency Room in Carthage. Mr. Garcia was 36.
A memorial Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Stan Stevenson of the Adams Avenue Church of Christ in Lebanon on Thursday afternoon December 11th at 1 p.m. from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Mr. Garcia’s two brothers, Cris and Manuel will deliver eulogies.
Born Jonathon Wesley Garcia in Dearborn in Wayne County, Michigan on July 21, 1989 he was the son of Mrs. Roseannie McCoy Garcia Konczal and husband Danny of Lincoln Park, Michigan and step-father Danny also of Lincoln Park.
Mr. Garcia was united in holy matrimony in Grosse Ile, Michigan on October 2, 2016 to Michigan native, Taryn Megan Pasco.
Mr. Garcia had served as a delivery driver for Lipman Brothers of Nashville for over ten years, being in charge of the Gallatin and Hendersonville routes.
He was a wonderful and caring husband, father, brother and son and was the apple of his three children’s eye.
He had a mechanical mind, and an endless hunger to learn, teaching himself through You Tube, curiosity, and even creativity sparked by video games.
Surviving in addition to his parents, Roseannie and Danny and wife Taryn of only nine years are he and Taryn’s three children, Leilani Garcia, Jonathon Wesley Garcia Jr. and Guilietta Garcia all of South Carthage, sister, Kristina Garcia of Lincoln Park, Michigan, two brothers, Cristobal Garcia and wife Lisa of Pflugerville, Texas, Manuel Garcia and wife Meri of Lebanon; another sister, Stephanie Elliott of Taylor, Michigan.
