Jim Luna, 79, of Springfield, TN, passed away on October 7, 2025. Jim was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired Metro Police Officer who dedicated his life to service and community. Beyond his career, he found joy in farming and hunting and was a member of the Red River Game and Fishing Club. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a member of 24 Church in Pleasant View, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Luna. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn Luna; sons, Jerry (Jennifer) Luna and Dwayne (Kelly) Luna; grandchildren, Breanna, Bryson, Jared, and Jacob; and his faithful dog, Carly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 1:30 p.m. at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
